North American Excavation Shoring Association (NAXSA)

Pacific Shoring was honored to be acknowledged by NAXSA as one of its founding members at the organization’s 10th Anniversary convention. Back in 2014, Robert Pitts, who founded Pacific Shoring in 2004, worked with a small group of Trench Shoring Executives to create NAXSA and provide members
with the tools and resources to help them and their businesses achieve success as industry leaders.

Although Mr. Pitts retired from the shoring industry in 2019, Pacific Shoring’s management team remains vigilant about continuing the legacy our founder worked on for so long. We continue to abide by NAXSA’s mission to promote the safe and efficient use of excavation shoring practices.

NAXSA represents manufacturers, engineers, rental companies/distributors, universities/educators, associates/suppliers, and government agency representatives who share the common goal of maintaining safety in the excavation shoring industry with the result of zero deaths and injuries.

NAXSA’s core focus is to empower its members with the resources needed to excel and be recognized as leaders within the field. As members, individuals have access to exclusive training programs and certifications that are second to none in quality.
