EZE Shoring App — Privacy Policy

The EZE Shoring app is built to be private by default. This policy describes what the app does — and what it does not do — with information on your device. It applies to the EZE Shoring mobile application only; Pacific Shoring Products’ website privacy policy is separate.
What we do not collect
The app does not require an account, sign-in, or any personal information to use the spec, calculator, install guides, checklist, or reference tables.
The app does not request or use your device’s location.
The app does not include third-party analytics or advertising trackers — no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics, no Crashlytics, no advertising SDK.
The app does not load fonts, icons, or video from third-party content delivery networks. Those assets ship bundled inside the app.
Push notifications
If you allow notifications, your device receives a notification token from your operating system’s push notification service. Pacific Shoring uses this token only to deliver app messages — for example, product updates or safety bulletins. Tokens are never shared with advertisers and are not used to identify you. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.
Usage insights
The app sends a small amount of anonymous, lightweight usage data — for example, a count of which screen was viewed — over Wi-Fi to Pacific Shoring’s own servers. The events are not stored on your device, do not include personal information or persistent identifiers, and are never shared with third parties.
Usage insights are on by default. You can turn them off at any time in More → Preferences.
EU users (ePrivacy and GDPR)
This app is designed to meet the EU ePrivacy Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Because usage events are anonymous, lightweight, and not stored on your device, they fall outside the scope of personal data and the consent requirements that apply to it. The only thing stored on your device about this feature is your on/off choice, so the app can honor it. You can change that choice at any time in More → Preferences.
Editable content
News posts and editable content (About, Contact, Privacy, Terms) are delivered read-only from Pacific Shoring’s servers. The app does not send anything about you when fetching this content.
Data on your device
Your selected language, unit system, and your usage-insights preference are stored on your device only. They never leave the device.
Children
The app is designed for industry professionals and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is delivered with the next app update.
